Introduction to Hyma Plastic
Hyma Plastic – Hyma Foam is one of the largest Egyptian companies specialized in manufacturing a variety of products made from different grades of polyethylene materials like greenhouse , bags , ( light and heavy duty ) packing , shrink , warpping , hoses and pipes for vtililies application .
These products are made in the same top quality well know all over world in Oder to fulfill the demand of the domestic market and exportation requirements.
Hyma Plastic – Hyma Foam has been established in 1975 to the purpose of manufacturing and marketing different types of ployethlene products with a target plan for a total production capacity of 40000 tons/year till 2002, this has been fulfilled already . the production started in 1976 with a capacity of 1800 tons of heavy duty fertilizers bags made of LDPE later on the company started its expansion with the addition of new production lines enabling it to fulfill its target plans of 40000 tons/years as follows :
- production of film for greenhouses ( 9000 ton / year ) as of 1979
- production of film in width up to 14m and a thickness up to 1 mm agriculture application and water conservation for water reservoirs , canal lining and roofing ( 6000 ton / years ) as of 1989 , the production reached of capacity of ( 15000 ton / year ) in 2002 after producing agriculture film in 3 layers .
- production of drip irrigation hoses and pipes made of polyethylene for water supply , sewerage , irrigation , fire fighting and ducts ( 9500 ton / year ) as of 1998 . further products are pipes and hoses ranging from 16 up to 315 mm outer diameter and working pressure up up to 32Bars. A complete system of fittings for assembling pipes is also available. This system can be installed by either butt or electrofusion and/or simple compression couplings.
